I don’t necessarily agree with the term passive income, as it implies that you’re going to be making a ton of money by doing absolutely nothing at all.
Where nothing could be really further from the truth.
When I first heard about it, I thought it was some type of scam, you know, like a get rich quick scheme or a pyramid scheme or some kind of multi-level marketing thing where you bother your friends and family.
I am always a little skeptical when it sounds too good to be true it usually is and maybe you feel the same way as well.
Now most of us are taught to go to school and get an education and secure a good job for ourselves.
Unfortunately, we all only have 24 hours a day and most of us only work 40 hours each week…
Ways To Increase Cash Flow.
So if you want to earn passive income, then you have to figure out a way to make money while you are doing other things.
Like sleeping, or going on vacation or while your watching tv or hanging out with friends doing stuff you actually.

I have know idea why they don’t teach this in school because they should.
Just Imagine this for a moment , what if you spend a couple of days working from home on your laptop but you get paid for that work forever even when you’re asleep or on vacation.

So eventually they can cover all of your living expenses and any extra money that you make, you can use for a real estate investment that will also grow for you in value passively.
Now again just because the term passive income makes it sound like you are doing nothing, let me just explain it again.
What you are really going to be doing is the the actual task once and then get paid for it over and over again for your efforts once the work is done, does that makes sense?

Let me quickly explain to you how it works if the concept is new to you.
You sign up to a companies affiliate program and then you refer their products to other people in exchange for a commission and there is no upfront investment.
I first heard about affiliate marketing back in 2007 and I have been promoting other people products in different niche markets since and it is a great business model.
The beauty of it is, that you don’t have to create products of your own and you are not responsible for customer service.
It is really pretty much a hands off type of business model and it can help you to start creating passive income for very low investment and begin to build wealth.
Not all affiliate marketing programs are a like though, I suggest you don’t get involved in the following affiliate programs because they pay you very low commissions, avoid the Amazon affiliate programs as well Walmart.

Starting a Youtube Channel currently over 2.29 billion people watch videos on Youtube.
I have several Youtube channels in different niche markets and the great thing about it is, Youtube pays you a recurring income month after month for videos you shot one time.
Which is an awesome way to make more money.
I am still making money from videos I shot years ago, I know some people don’t want to show their face on Youtube or Social Media and there are tons of Youtube channels that just use a voice over and b-roll footage.
If you don’t know what B-roll is it is just various video clips that support the narration and the cool thing is you don’t have to create the b-roll clips yourself.
I use a site called Story Blocks to find 4K B-roll for my videos and it allows you to throw together a pretty cool video in a short amount of time.
If you don’t know how to edit videos you can always hire a video editor on Up Work or Fivver so if you think about it.
You can start a Youtube channel, without appearing on camera and without knowing how to shoot or edit videos yourself. All you have to do is pick a niche market and record voice overs.

There are hundreds of different niche markets that you could potentially be selling your own digital information products in.
I’ve sold a digital video training course in the Photography niche.
Now I also suggest you have an upsell to your front end product.
That could be another higher priced course or it could be a monthly membership site with an additional high ticket coaching program or mastermind.
Now you may be thinking you don’t know what type of products to create or what market to get into.
It could be related to any topic or hobby that you are interested in that has a large potential customer base online.
I generally suggest sticking to larger online markets and then picking a smaller niche market with in the larger market.
For example in the Health market you could focus on anti aging for men or women over 50.

When it comes to selling your own digital information products, I suggest you stay away from platforms like Amazon or Udemy because you will want to have several upsells after you sell your initial front end product.
And those sites do not allow you to have upsells and you also can’t add your customers to your own email marketing list which is a major downside.
